Event Description: You are invited to Deliver Health and Hope to the World! Project C.U.R.E. was founded in 1987 to help meet the need for medical supplies, equipment and services around the world. Project C.U.R.E. builds sustainable healthcare infrastructure by providing the medical supplies and equipment that medical personnel need to deliver healthcare to their communities. Since its inception, Project C.U.R.E. has delivered medical relief to needy people in more than 120 countries. We will be sorting medical supplies for those who are in desperate need. This will be a fun, engaging and hands-on experience. Please use the online registration tool to register for this event. Also, please keep in mind the following: -Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes in the warehouse. -Wear weather-appropriate clothing as it is colder in winters and warmer in summers. -Please arrive on-time. You will be led by a Volunteer Leader and they will need adequate time to explain to you what will need to be done. -Our online scheduling system will send an automatic email detailing these requirements three days before your event. Thank you to the volunteers who came to the Ronald McDonald House for the cleaning project! Dear Amy and the Highlands Ranch Honor Society, I just wanted to thank all of you for the tremendous job that you did at our Denver Ronald McDonald House with cleaning and site preparation for our new wing. Your group was incredibly efficient and thorough – you were able to get many of our to-do items accomplished in such a short amount of time. We are so excited to be able to assist many more families with our new expansion and appreciate your help with this large undertaking. The families are very thankful to come home after spending all day at the hospital and coming to a clean, welcoming environment. Thanks to your group. As you know, at times the Ronald McDonald House is simply a place for a parent to spend a few hours sleeping or to take a shower before going back to the hospital to be at the bedside of their child. Other times it is truly a home away from home for families that must spend months in Denver while their children receive advanced medical treatment. Families are very thankful for the generosity of our donors; your kindness makes their lives less stressful in many ways. We are fortunate to have the community support available to provide a service to those who need it most. Thank you for being a part of the House That Love Built! Warm regards, Sandra Wiersma & Holly Sullivan -- A. Alonzi
