The following information is for the Out of the Darkness Walk, occurring on October 3, 2015. Please text the NHS phone number if you have any questions.
Please register to volunteer online at https://afsp.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=register.start&eventID=3146. Search for the team "HRHS Student Volunteer" led by Mrs. Tufts.
You must return a field trip form if you would like to ride the HRHS bus down to Coors Field. (Return it to Mrs. Young, Mr. Davis, Mrs. Griffith, or Mrs.Tufts.) There is no charge for the bus. Volunteers must arrive by 7 AM to HRHS; we will leave at 7:15, and will return around 2:00 PM.
ALL HRHS VOLUNTEERS MUST ATTEND THE MANDATORY LUNCH MEETING ON OCTOBER 1ST. PIZZA WILL BE PROVIDED.
At the meeting, you will receive your volunteer T-shirt. If you volunteered last year, please wear the shirt that was given to you then.
Jobs include: Setup/water station/cleanup, parking, route and venue ambassadors, registration, various table helpers, resource fair helper - please sign up for one when you turn in your field trip form.
Bring: Comfortable shoes, money for lunch (food trucks), a water bottle, and your white Out of the Darkness volunteer shirt.
If you will not be riding the bus down, please inform us so we can ensure you get credit for being at the walk.
